LR circuit, with phasor diagram

Here, you can make time go forward and backward (Hello, Dr. Who). You can slide time using the long slider under the sine waves. As you do this, the phasor will rotate.

For example, try:

  1. Changing the frequency - this will make the rotation faster as you slide the slider
  2. Changing R and/or L - try making VS and VS the same magnitude
  3. "Balancing" the time such that (for example) VS is entirely on the x-axis. What are VR and VL doing at this point and what do they look like of the "oscilloscope screen"?
